Report Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Report Specialist role works closely with leadership for a complex project in the Hyperscale Data Center industry, performing modeling, query and report generation to support forecasting and management decision making. The applicant must be well organized, perform tasks with precision and attention to detail.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Participates in discovery processes with project stakeholders to identify requirements, expected outcomes and metric information needed for query or report development.
• Support extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources.
• Perform timely execution and delivery of data to stakeholders based on provided schedule.
• Obtains data from various systems, performing data transformation as necessary in tools such as Microsoft Excel.
• Works directly with end customer representatives to understand their organization and translate their requirements as necessary into metrics and reporting.
• Other project/customer work as required from time to time.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Working knowledge and experience using Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server).
• Experience with basic Microsoft SQL Server functions (example: running queries, scripts and restoring databases).
• Working familiarity with MS Office 365.
• US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency with the ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance is required. For Permanent Residents, this means having resided in the US for at least 3 of the past 5 years.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in data management and visualization using at least one data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Working knowledge and experience using Amazone RedShift LOCATION: Virtual No sponsorship is available currently.
